Delivering 5-Star Service

UberEATS is a door-to-door delivery service. This involves parking and leaving your vehicle at each pick-up and drop-off location. Our most successful partners know that delivering to the customer's door helps ensure a 5-star experience.

Remember that you are representing the restaurants you pick up from, so it's important to be friendly and and present yourself professionally during pick-up and drop-off. 

The Info Tray

The information tray is there to help you complete a seamless door-to-door delivery.

  • Swipe up at the bottom of the screen for the information tray before EVERY pick-up and drop-off

  • It’s very important to look for Special Instructions regarding parking, entrances, unit numbers, and order numbers

  • Packages should not be left unattended. If the customer is not home, please contact Uber Support (1.800.617.1979)

The Contact Screen

The contact screen is a great resource for you to use if any of the instructions from the restaurant or customer are unclear. Simply press on the Clipboard Icon to access this screen.

When should you use the contact screen?

  • If you can’t find the restaurant (sender) or aren’t sure which entrance to use

  • If you can’t find the customer (recipient) or are having trouble accessing their building

  • If anything is delaying you from reaching the restaurant or customer

Pro Tips

  • Bring your phone and insulated bag inside for every pickup and dropoff; this will help restaurants and customers to verify the order

  • Check for Special Instructions in the Info Tray before every pickup and dropoff for tips on parking and how to find the entrance

  • If you are delayed, don't hesitate to contact the restaurant or customer through the app!
